Salem Village is a villa community comprised of families, retired senior, working professionals, and the unique Florida Species known as "Snow-Bird". It is located within the master community of Ridgemoor, in the Palm Harbor, East Lake area of Pinellas County. Salem Village features 151 attractive villas, with tile roofs, all tucked away in a charming, gated, Palm Harbor neighborhood.

This website is for the use of Salem Village residents and is dedicated to providing information concerning the community and it's affairs. Other website visitors are encouraged to learn a little bit about our community.

UTILITY BOX PAINTING - All cable, electrical and water meter boxes throughout the community have been painted.

POND EROSION PROJECT MID MAY 2019 - Ridgemoor Master Association is getting ready to start the pond erosion project on pond #33 which is located behind the villas on Darston Street (villas 3899-3843). G.A. Nichols is the chosen vendor for the project and Pinellas County inspectors will also be overseeing and monitoring the work done. The anticipated start to finish timetable is expected to be two weeks. This is a Ridgemoor Master Association Project. SALEM VILLAGE WEBSITE - You will notice the website changing over time. We are in the process of restructuring how the information is displayed so it is easier to find what you are looking for. Please be patient.

VILLA PAINTING - PHASE 1 - Phase 1 is Old Darston (beginning of neighborhood thru pool area) and Muirfield only. Job is progressing along from the pool area and working up towards the front gate. Please clear furniture and personal items away from wall areas in your lanai and atrium. Please contact the paint chairman, John McManus, regarding any questions or concerns you may have. Emails have been sent out with his contact information or you may complete a maintenance request form on the websites main page.

LANDSCAPING CONTRACTOR - FLC will begin their weekly service the week of April 1st. Mowing, edging and blowing off the debris will take place each Wednesday. The following day, Thursday, one section of the neighborhood will be detailed each week. Detailing means trimming the bushes in the garden and spraying for weeds. Keep in mind this is a general maintenance contract for the community - not individualized service. If you feel you would like a more detailed service - feel free to hire an independent contractor.

HOLIDAY TRASH PICK UP SCHEDULE - The following is a list of observed holidays with our waste/trash company where there will be NO pick up: New Years Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day

POOL NEWS - Some recent upgrades were made around the pool area. New LED lights were installed in front and on the side of the building. A new drainage system was added to get the water off the deck quicker and prevent mold and staining from building up.

You will also notice some new chairs and a table and refurbishing of the existing chairs. We are asking that the strapped chairs remain under the covering as the sun really does a number on those chairs and stains them as well. The green mesh ones are the ones we can leave out in the sun on a regular basis with no problem.

New hedges for both sides of the pool were planted April 5th. They are only 3 gallon sized bushes but we have been told they are very fast growing bushes. The bushes are called Fire Bush which should bring some nice orangey/red color to the area. We will be doing the last side of the pool at a later time.

Meeting Notices

HOA Board Meeting - Salem Village Homeowners Assoc Board Meeting will be held at the Pool Cabana on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM. Notices and agendas are placed on the bulletin boards at the front gate and at the pool area.
